Baked Moringa Capsicum Crips with Moringa-Mint Tea
Would you like to indulge in a ‘Guilt-free’ snack that is also interesting ? Try this tasty and nourishing recipe which can also be made Vegan.Quick and easy to prepare ,this recipe is filled with nutrients and is the perfect way to benefit from the vitamins and minerals of Moringa Powder.Enjoy with a cup of warm Ausha Moringa-Mint Tea.
- 2 Bell peppers
- A Handful of Mint leaves
- 30 ml Balsamic Vinegar
- ½ tsp AUSHA Pepper Powder
- ½ tsp AUSHA coconut oil
- Rock salt to taste
- 1.5 tsp AUSHA Moringa powder
- 2-4 slices of Halloumi cheese
- 40 g Mango chutney
- A handful of Walnuts and pistachios
In a Bowl, mix Balsamic vinegar, chopped mint leaves, Ausha pepper Powder, Ausha coconut oil, pinch of salt, and Ausha Moringa powder. (Tip: You can also add ½ tsp of tandoori spice powder in the above mix if you love it spicy.)
Mix chopped peppers in the above sauce and Marinate for 15-20 minutes. Adjust the vinegar quantity and Moringa quantity as required.
Pre heat oven to 200F and pop the peppers in a tray and bake for 15 minutes until they are crispy.
Meanwhile in a dry pan, toast the unsalted nuts of your choice until brown. Transfer to a bowl.
Now in the hot pan toast the halloumi cheese slices. Now coat each side of the cheese with mango chutney (any supermarket brand) and toast both sides until brown.
Serve hot with nourishing Ausha Moringa-Mint Tea.
