Cacao Orange Muffins
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup Ausha Cacao Nibs
- 1 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 large egg
- 1/2 cup Organic Raw Cane Sugar
- 1/4 cup salted butter, melted
- 1 1/2 tsp orange extract
- 1/2 cup whole milk
Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease a 12-cup muffin pan or line with paper baking cups.
In a medium bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and baking soda; set aside. Blend the Cacao Nibs in a high-quality blender and add it to the mixture.
In a large bowl, with an electric mixer, cream egg and sugar together. Add melted butter and orange extract; mix. Add flour mixture, alternating with milk. Cream mixture for 2 minutes on low speed.
Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups, filling each two-thirds full. Bake 20 to 25 minutes.
Check if the muffins are baked enough, if not leave them for another 10 minutes.
