Green Gram Moringa pancakes
Here is a very basic recipe that is high in protein,high in fiber and low in fat.This is an exciting recipe because of its vibrant green colour and the fact that its packed with nutrients.Have fun trying this recipe.
- 1 cup soaked green gram
- 2tbsp long grain rice
- 3 green chilies
- 4 tsp Ausha Moringa powder
- 2 inches ginger
Soak the green gram dal and rice together in a bowl of water overnight. The recommended time is approximately 5-6 hours, but soaking it overnight makes it softer and easier to grind it.
The next day grind the green gram with chilies, ginger and salt. Grind it into a smooth batter. Add in the moringa powder to the batter, it is now ready to cook.
Pour in a scoop of the batter onto a hot non-stick pan. Toss it to the other side once its cooked on one side.
Serve it hot with a chutney of your choice.You could also pair it with our Moringa Mint chutney
