Moringa Lemon Rice
Eating can be made healthy,it does not have to be boring or complicated to prepare.Try out this simple and delicious recipe.
- 1 tsp mustard seeds
- 2 tbsp groundnut oil
- 1 tsp urad dal
- 1tsp Ausha turmeric powder
- 1 green chilli
- 1 tsp Ausha Moringa Powder
- Pink Himalayan salt to taste
- 2 tbsp Lemon juice
- Rice of your choice
Cook rice separately as per the preferred portion sizes.I have used parboiled rice with quinoa for a twist.
In a wide pan,heat the groundnut oil and once hot,splutter some mustard seeds,uraddal and the curry leaves.Then add in the Ausha Turmeric Powder and the green chili(can be substituted with Ausha Black Pepper Powder) and saute for a minute.Now, switch off the heat and add in the Ausha Moringa Powder, pink Himalayan salt according to your taste and the lemon juice and give it a nice mix.
Add the cooked rice to the pan and give it a nice mix.
Enjoy this delicious recipe with a pappad or sweet potato fries on the side.
